Hatch delivers Barrow load of joy for Hatters

Liam HatchLiam Hatch scored a late goal in a smash-and-grab raid to hand the Hatters all three points.

The game looked like it was headed for a stalemate until the Peterborough United loan man arrowed a header in seven minutes from time for his first goal since recovering from five months on the injury list - his second in an orange shirt.

They had to play in a fog for much of the second half but the result made it three on the spin on Town's travels. And after conceding three goals to Blue Square Premier strugglers Ebbsfleet United last weekend there was the bonus of a clean sheet to mark the return from injury of keeper Mark Tyler who made his first appearance since October 31.

The scoreline could have been more comfortable as the game ticked towards a conclusion but Hatch volleyed over from six yards out.
